Capitol Hill Tech

The Chattahoochee-Flint RESA ETC selected Schley Co. Elementary 5th grade teacher Mrs. Jamie Frost and four of her students to represent this RESA area at Capitol Tech in Atlanta in January.  Their presentation was so good that they were invited to travel with the Georgia group to Washington D.C. to present at Capitol Hill.  Students D.J. Dean, Audrey Duncan, MacKenzie Tobin, and Clayton Aldrige made the trip to Washington, along with Mrs. Frost, SCE Principal Melody Murray, and Technology Specialist David Bond.  C-F RESA ETC staff Leigh Sadler and Kristi Richburg also made the trip.  They traveled aboard AMTRAK and the trip included a tour of the Capitol building, a nighttime tour of the monuments, a visit with Senator Sanford Bishop and Johnny Isaakson, and time for play in the several feet of snow!  View the highlight film above to see more on Capitol Hill Tech.  See the photos page for information about Capitol Tech in Atlanta.
